1955 MGA Gear Shifter

Here we have another Bandai example of a mega iconic car, none other than the 1955 - 1962 MGA.

"Arguably the prettiest car to wear MG badges, the MGA is a solid buy in a turbulent market".  Produced by Bandai in the early 1960s this car certainly captures the beauty of its real life counterpart.

This car is small but packed with big features including shift levers for selecting forward / reverse and a separate lever for selecting a gear (Low, High, Neutral), features seen in all Bandai gear shift cars of the 1960s, only small as this car is only 8.5 inches long by 3.3 inches wide.

Although this car was obtained from a private party in Florida, USA, we believe it may have been marked in the U.K. as it has right-hand drive which would have been very unusual to market to the USA at that time (remember they wanted familiarity with their customers).  I am still looking for a left hand drive MGA to verify this theory.  Let us know if you know the facts.
