Oldsmobile Toronado
Bandai

This Oldsmobile Toronado was not the first real-life car to feature front-wheel drive, but it was the first "large American made V8" to be accepted by the general US population. Its biggest draw was the percieved "handling" advantage with improved fuel economy. While accepted for a few years front wheel drive eventually targeted the small to mid-sized market.
This fabulous car from Bandai features "Bump and Go Action with Engine Sound" and "Headlights Open and Close and Light On and Off Automatically while it runs" as taken directly from the box. Look for the "How it Works" Video featuring this car and the amazing mechanicals under the hood.
